| Tax Masters began in 2003 in Vidor, Texas. The company prepared taxes for individuals, corporations, the self-employed and more. The company’s experience, however, began far longer ago than that!
Louis Nielsen began preparing taxes in 1973. He started studying the tax codes and worked for himself for several years. In 1994, he began working for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and managed multiple offices in Southeast Texas while still operating his own tax preparation service from home. Louis left Jackson Hewitt in 2002 and with his wife, Beth, they opened Tax Masters. Louis also taught classes for Beginning Tax Preparation, Intermediate Tax Preparation and Advanced Tax Preparation.
Beth Nielsen started preparing taxes in 1999 and was a fast learner. She began by preparing taxes with Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and ended up managing her own location in Vidor, Texas.

| The Tax Masters have done our taxes for years. We live in Texas and we mail our information to them. Within a few day we receive a friendly phone call with all the totals. Tax Masters are not only quick, their prices are better than most of the other guys. Beth and Louis really take the worry out of the April 15th deadline. Rhonda Sawyer- Beaumont, TX
